What this policy is for
This policy sits with the Terms of Service. It keeps LoopOnyx usable for everyone, and it stops checks from being turned into a burden on someone else's system. Permission to probe a target is covered by the Acceptable Use Policy.
-
Check intervals
Each plan has a shortest allowed interval. It is shown in the app. You must not try to schedule checks more often than that, or work around the limit.
-
Text alerts
Texts are for critical alerts only. They are capped at 3 an hour and 10 a day. The plan allowance is used first, then the prepaid balance. Where your plan includes a reserve of critical texts, that reserve is 8 a month, and the hourly and daily caps still apply.
-
AI
AI features are optional and may be turned off. When they are on, use is limited by your plan allowance and then your prepaid balance. We may slow or stop AI when a limit is reached. Customer content is never sent to a free or data-sharing model.
-
Targets
Do not point a monitor at a system in order to flood it, scan it, or slow it down. Do not use checks, heartbeats, or feeds as a way to overwhelm a target or LoopOnyx.
-
Rate limits
We may slow, queue, or refuse requests that would overload the service, a target, or other customers. That includes checks, alerts, and machine endpoints. If we do this, we will restore normal use once the load is back within the plan.
Fair Use Policy
This policy sets the limits on checks, text alerts, and AI, and it says what we do if use is too heavy.
